We would like to invite you to join us for a unique fundraising idea this Valentines day.

‘LOVE YOUR ARTS SPACE’
Future Artists are developing an arts space at the Black lion, Chapel Street, Salford,
an 120 capacity, studio space, suitable for film screenings, theatre, meetings and art happenings,
things are going very well, lots of support from the local and international arts community,
BUT
there is one thing that is missing, the venue is upstairs is in a building that is 130 years old,
and the Victorians did not think about universal access, so the arts happenings and film screenings upstairs can be accessed for all,
but we do.
Future Artists @ The Black Lion is NOT funded by any government, arts council or artistic grants, and so for us to install a lift to allow all artists access to our venue, with toilets to suit, we are gonna need your help, don’t worry, all you have to do is turn up and have a good time!
this all starts on Valentines Day, with a unique fundraising idea.
We are going to cook you dinner, and you pay what you think it’s worth?
Come to our POP UP RESTAURANT….
and the profits from the night will help us to start the journey to realizing our dream of an arts venue for all.
So How does it work?
1) Book a table – it costs between £2-£4 to book a table – choose your ticket above
2) The night starts at 7.30pm with a 3 course meal, suitable for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
3) You buy your drinks from the bar, we supply the food.
4) When the bill arrives, you pay what you think for the food.
5) After the night, we do some maths and let you all know how much we have raised for our project.
6) You will be the first sponsors of ‘Love your art space’ and get your name on the board -
this will mean alot to us!
Our Restaurant area and building access where this event takes place is suitable for all, and has access for all.
