Part 1 – Film (4.30 till 5.30 – 30 min break)
US NOW’, the 2008 film project about the power of mass collaboration, government and the internet . In a world in which information is like air, what happens to power?
Part 2 – Unconference (6pm till 8pm)
From twitter conversations to the real thing! The crowd will facilitate itself and begin to network, debate, share ideas, and problem solve, using the film as a starting point, using twitter as the ice breaker. Future Artists will facilitate a mini unconference where you can start to shape how the future artists creative co-op can be run, its aims and objectives and how we can do this using ideas from the film.
Part 3 – The Outcome
This is a bold experiment, but as the founders of Future Artists always say ‘without deviation from the norm progress is not possible’. So come along, take part, enjoy the film, take part in the debate, network with real purpose and leave the event feeling part of a community, one that believes in peer-to-peer collective group action.
